Economic boom caused by many new investments in the main area of the Zone - Mielec is the result of the influence of SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC on the surroundings (town - microregion).
The Zone increased the demand for various services and as a result many new companies were established in Mielec and many new jobs were created.

The development  apparently increased the demand for such services as: transport services, communication and courier services, security agencies (employing about 300 people), education (the following institutions, among many others,  were created due to the demand of the Zone: Centre of Practical Education, University  of Economy and Management in Mielec and others), IT services (fivefold increase of tenants in the following markets: computer equipment, software, xerographic equipment, fax, telephone, cash register), catering, hotel trade. The intensity of logistics in the Zone significantly increased over 5000 cars drive into the Zone every day, including 1100 trucks. Moreover, 13000 railway carriages enter the Zone every year by railway.

Due to their geographic location, areas of Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK MIELEC  have exceptionally clean environment and good geotechnical conditions.
The Bieszczady and Beskidy Mountains and many famous historic places are attractive offers to rest in one of the most environment friendly areas in the country.

There are many attractive rest and recreation places in south-eastern Poland. This region is close to historic towns, such as Sandomierz, Wiślica, Rzeszów, Łańcut, Zamość, Przemyśl, Tarnów which are well known from the history of Poland. It is not far from health resorts and monumental castles (Baranów, Krasiczyn), where you can hold business meetings or conferences.

Mountain lovers can spend weekends nearby in the Beskidy and Bieszczady Mountains which are attractive in summer (beautiful tourist routes, sailing) and winter (skiing). Picturesque areas make it possible to practice canoeing and other water sports.
