SEZ EURO-PARK MIELEC offers considerable amount of qualified workforce, both production workers and managers. New industrial sectors using new technologies and methods of work organization have influence on staff diversity.

The available work-force in the Zone comes from following sources:

• graduates of high schools, technical schools, vocational schools  and universities
• staff coming from companies developed from the restructuring of local industry (Factory of Transportation Equipment WSK PZL - Mielec).
• unemployed registered in Employment Office

County Employment Agencies deal with hiring of the unemployed. At their disposal they have special packages for employers hiring unemployed and school graduates.

Development Potential in  Subzones
Rzeszów and Lublin Subzones, annexed to EURO-PARK MIELEC in September 2007, represent a remarkable develompent potential. Rzeszów (165 thousand inhibitants), the capital of Podkarpackie Voivodship, as well as Lublin (350 thousand inhibitants), the capital of Lubelskie Voivodship, are the cities of young population.
The areas of both Subzones spread over Podkarpacki and Lubelski Scientific-Technological Parks.
Six colleges, including Rzeszów University and Rzeszów Technical University, ensure highly skilled professionals in aviation, being the only academic center in Poland in training pilots. Approximately 50 thousand students attend colleges in Rzeszów. Strong aviation traditions in Rzeszów have shaped the economic picture of the city, as the largest industrial center in south-eastern Poland, with an international Airport Rzeszów-Jasionka. The traditions continue until today through a national showcase project called “Aviation Valley”.
Fourteen colleges in Lublin, including Lublin Technical University, Lublin Catholic University, European College of Polish-Ukrainian Universities, University of Agriculture, University of Maria Curie Skłodowska, Medical University, represent the capacity of approximately 140 thousand students. The academic potential of Lublin plays a significant role as a science and research center in economic development strategies, focused on encouraging investors to locate their R&D projects with preference of IT sector, in the recent Lublin Technological and Scientific Park.
